Jackpot: South Jersey Supermarket Sells $165K+ Lotto Ticket

A lottery ticket worth more than $165,000 was purchased at an Atlantic County supermarket, officials said.

The winner was sold at the ShopRite on English Creek Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 24. 

The ticket that brought home the $165,867 jackpot matched all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The winning numbers were 7, 11, 26, 37, and 45. The XTRA number was 2 and the Bullseye number was 7.

This is the second South Jersey ticket to win a major Jersey Cash 5 prize in three days. A winner bought at a Pemberton Township restaurant split the $861,944 jackpot on Monday, Oct. 21.

The ShopRite will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
